West Bellevue Church supports the Cooperative Program of the
Southern Baptist Convention in sending and funding more than 10,000
full-time missionaries around the world. In addition to this, WBC
personally supports missionaries in Bolivia and has members serving
as career missionaries in Africa and Argentina. WBC also sponsors
and supports local mission efforts in the area such as:
The Sudanese Church
Pastor James Geek is establishing a multi-tribal Sudanese church
in Omaha.
The Omaha Baptist Center
Pastor Bob Besco and his wife, Rhonda, serve as missionaries at
this inner city mission center in downtown Omaha.
Campus Ministry International
Volunteers join Kerry and Wol Suk Foster in ministering to
International students at The University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Good News Jail and Prison Ministry
Not only does WBC support this ministry financially, but members
serve in this local jail ministry.
WBC Building Team
Each summer a team of volunteers travel to a location in the U.S.
to help construct a new church building for a congregation.
Overseas Mission Projects
Each year volunteers travel as a team to serve alongside
missionaries in carrying out a project-anything from evangelism
to church construction.

make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
